Corbin Rueschenberg teaming up with Tanner Thorson



Tulsa Oklahoma (10/10/2023)…. Corbin Rueschenberg is joining Tanner Thorson for the final four POWRi/Xtreme National Midget Series events this weekend in Oklahoma. The Arizona teenager will also be with Thorson for the 2024 Chili Bowl Nationals in January

“I am pumped to be finishing the season with Tanner Thorson. Tanner is one of the best midget drivers of all time, I am very excited to get to work and learn a lot from Tanner. I cant wait for what these next few races to continue to fight for rookie of the year and a potential POWRi National Championship.”

Rueschenberg is learning from one of the best in the business with Thorson boasting, the 2016 USAC National Midget championship, 2022 Chili Bowl Nationals title, and over 45 National Midget victories. Corbin hopes Tanner will lead him well in the Arizona Luxury Garage - MB2 Industries - Southwest Overhead Door - JPU Racing - Spike/Stanton #26. “Obviously Tanner has one of the best resumes in all of Midget racing. These upcoming races I plan to soak up all of the advice he gives me in race craft and maturity.”

Corbin is wrapping up his POWRi/Xtreme National Midget season this weekend at four Oklahoma tracks. Everything kicks off Wednesday (10/11) at Creek County Speedway, and Port City Raceway on Thursday. The final two races of Corbin’s pursuit of the POWRi National Championship are at I-44 Riverside Speedway at Friday and Saturday in Oklahoma City.

In sixteen events, Rueschenberg has amassed 10 Top 10’s, and 3 Top 5’s in pursuit of POWRi National Champion and Rookie of the Year honors.
