PC: Speed Demon Productions

Bixby, Oklahoma (1/21/2021)... Cannon McIntosh is headed back home to compete with his dad's team, Dave Mac Motorsports. McIntosh is fresh off winning his second straight prelim night win and a 4th place finish in the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals finale last Saturday.

18-year-old Cannon ran the No. 71 for Keith Kunz/Curb-Agajanian Motorsports in 202,0 where he competed full-time with the USAC Nationals Midgets and nearly full-time with the POWRi National Midgets. On the USAC National tour, McIntosh picked up 2 wins, 12 Top 5's, and 19 Top 10's across 28 starts, leading him to place 5th in points.

With POWRi, Cannon collected 3 wins, 13 Top 5's, and 14 Top 10's in the 17 of 20 POWRi National events he competed. McIntosh finished 3rd in POWRi points, behind Jake Neuman and now former KKM teammate Buddy Kofoid. The 2020 race season was his only one with KKM.

The Bixby, Oklahoma native burst onto the scene in 2019 when he won his first USAC National Midget feature, the Shamrock Classic, aboard the No. 08 for Dave Mac. Cannon will join Dave Mac Motorsports teammates Tanner Thorson, Ace McCarthy, and Taylor Reimer in Ocala, FL at Bubba Raceway Park for the 2021 USAC National Midget season opener.
