Gordon Takes Lead Late to Win at virtual Lanier for Lucas Oil eSports

Corey Gordon wins at Lanier National Speedway Friday night (4/24) for the Lucas Oil eSports Late Models. Gordon started on the pole and was challenged early by Trent Ivey, Kaedon Cornell, and Hudson O'Neal. Ivey went back and forth with Gordon for a few laps.

Gordon held on until Cornell took the lead working the inside part of the track on lap 18. Cornell held his caution-free lead for the next 70 laps until he caught up to slower car Devin Moran. This gave Gordon enough time to catch back up and take the lead from Cornell on lap 88.

Gordon built up a lead and led the final 12 laps. Kornell finishes second for the second week in a row. Jeremy Pilkerton worked his way up throughout the night to round out the podium.
