Buddy Kofoid started 22nd in the feature on Saturday night at Lake Ozark Speedway. At the end of the night he took home the win for the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midgets.
When a caution for Ace McCarthy came out on lap 18, Kofoid had already made his way to 6th using the high side. With 12 to go on the restart Kofoid made relatively quick work taking the lead with just 5 to go. Teammate Cannon McIntosh running the bottom part of the track, could never catch Kofoid and had to settle for second. Another hard charger of the feature, Thomas Mesurall, started 17th but made it all the way up to third to finish on the podium.
The POWRi National Midgets are back in action next at Charleston Speedway (IL) on June 26 along with the POWRi WAR Sprint Cars
