In a joint venture, Chase McDermand Racing and Mounce/Stout Motorsports are bringing Rising Sun, Maryland native, Steven Snyder Jr to the 37th Annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Snyder, will be taking on his second Chili Bowl Nationals in January, last year he reached the J-Main on Saturday in his rookie effort. The 2021 KKM Giveback Classic winner added to his resume over the summer with seven wins at Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway (Newmanstown, PA), and the 2022 Hyper Racing 600 Speedweek Championship.

Pennsylvania is not the only place Snyder had dominated, in trips outside of the Keystone State the seventeen-year-old found preliminary night victories at Christopher Bell’s Micro Mania, the 2022 KKM Giveback Classic, and took home $10,000 at the Millbridge Speedway’s Carolina Micro Showdown.

With outdoor racing over for the year, Steven now looks forward to the Tulsa Shootout and Chili Bowl Nationals. “We had a great year in the Micro Sprint. Thank you to Chase (McDermand) and Mounce/Stout Motorsports for the opportunity. My plan is to relax, have fun, and do better than we did last year.”

While Snyder’s resume speaks for itself, car owner Chase McDermand see’s more than raw talent in Steven, “I have been watching him most of the year and I’ve been impressed with many of his runs. His race craft is very good and he is a smart racer. He knows his race car well; he works on his own equipment, and has respect for it. I am looking forward to having him in one of my cars at the Chili Bowl.”

From January 8th through January 14th tune into FloRacing to watch Steven Snyder Jr., Chase McDermand, and the rest of the Mounce/Stout Motorsports take on the 37th Annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals in Tulsa, Oklahoma
