Bixby, Oklahoma (12/15/2021)... Instant connections do not come around every day. Fortunately for David McIntosh, his son Cannon found one in Robert Dalby. A fun weekend of testing and racing has turned into a partnership that all parties hope leads to trophies and championships.

“I had watched Cannon, and Robert first work together in December of 2020 at Millbridge Speedway. I was blown away at the instant connection the two had. When we arrived in Florida to kick off the 2021 USAC National Midget season, I knew it was time for a change. I spoke with Robert in Florida and made him an offer to join Dave Mac Motorsports.”, stated David McIntosh.

After months of working alongside the twenty-two-year-old Dalby and seeing the changes in the shop pay off, David and his son Cannon had a meeting. The two decided to offer Robert and Ken Dalby an invitation to join their team for good and rebrand as Dave Mac-Dalby Motorsports. Robert and Ken happily accepted. David, Cannon, and Robert now share ownership of the team.

Just two weeks before the turn of the new year, the newly formed team will be hitting the track for their first time, fielding three entries in the 8th Annual Jason Leffler Memorial in Du Quoin, Illinois, at the Southern Illinois Center. Cannon McIntosh, Mitchel Moles, and Austin Barnhill will be driving for Dave-Mac Dalby at the Leffler Memorial.

Dave Mac-Dalby Motorsports will also be fielding eight entries in the 36th Annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals in Tulsa, Oklahoma, January 15th through 20th, 2022.

The elder McIntosh thinks the duo teaming up will be the key to finishing up front down the road, “I believe the future is bright, and I look forward to continuing on this year’s success for years to come.”
