Ocala, Florida (2/8/2021)... "T-Mez" Thomas Meseraull survived a late-race attack from Chris Windom on Monday night to win at Bubba Raceway Park.

Meseraull and Windom started on the front row and started to break away from the field when a caution came out just five laps in for Kade Morton.

Once again, the top two separated themselves quickly, but this time Saturday's winner, Buddy Kofoid joined the mix.

The trio paced each other and kept it close until Windom found something Meseraull and Kofoid had not. "T-Mez" closed in on Taylor Reimer at the end of the field with "Big Daddy" Chris Windom on his tail tank.

Catching someone is one thing, but passing them is another. Which is the exact problem that Windom faced. He pulled alongside Meseraull multiple times on the exit of turn two but could not pull through to take the top spot.

"T-Mex" finally made his way around Reimer and found breathing room. The 2020 USAC National Midget Champ was resilient and made one more effort with the white flag in the air.

Windom had a good run into the final corner but got tight as "T-Mez" would lead all 30 laps and win his 3rd career USAC National Midget feature.

Chris Windom found his second podium of the year, barely holding off Buddy Kofoid for second. Kofoid claims his second podium of the year as well after winning the season opener on Saturday.

Daison Pursley went from 10th to 5th to pick up the Hard Charger award in his Keith Kunz Motorsports No. 71K.
