Fairfield, Illinois (3/4/2021)... CB Industries has added a trio of promising young drivers to their lineup for the 2021 POWRi Midget trail. The three teenagers hail from the micro sprint ranks and are now ready to make their splash in Midget racing.

Ryan Timms

Ryan Timms is the oldest of the three teenagers that are joining the CB Industries. Timms will be running full-time on the POWRi Nationals Midget tour in the No. 85. The 14-year-old from Oklahoma City, OK, attempted twelve POWRi Midget shows in 2020, earning 2 Top 10's. Aside from the dozen POWRi starts, Timms began racing 305 and 360 Sprint Cars.

In December, Timms took on Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott, Chase Briscoe, and seven others in the Carolina Midget Showdown at Millbridge Speedway with CBI. He placed 5th and 8th respectively. Timms will look to continue to grow and make his name for himself this year with the Chad Boat-owned team.

Brent Crews

13-year-old Brent Crews is the other driver for CB Industries that will be full-time POWRi Midget racing in 2021. Crews burst on to the scene late in 2020 at the KKM Giveback Classic and 2021 Lucas Oil Tulsa Shootout, scoring Top 5's at each event. A 3-time world champion in go-karts, Crews, will be in the Pristine Auction No. 86 for the full POWRi National Midget schedule.

The Denver, North Carolina native will not only be racing Midgets in 2021, but Crews will also be racing a 360 sprint car. So far Brent has 2 Top 10s through 4 United Sprint Car Series starts. Crews has shown a tremendous amount of skill for his age and his one to watch for years to come.

Jade Avedisian

The final teenager joining CB Industries this off-season is Clovis, California native, Jade Avedisian. 2020 was a year to remember for the 14-year-old Avedisian. She started off the year winning a Golden Driller in the Restrictor Class at the Tulsa Shootout, then in July Jade took home the $20,000 to win John Hinck Memorial at Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex. In November, Avedisian was seen testing a Chad Boat Midget at Millbridge Speedway. It came as no surprise when it was announced that Jade would be running part-time POWRi for CBI in 2021.

It is unclear how many POWRi races USAC Triple Crown champion Chris Windom will run, but anytime he is alongside the trio, his experience should invaluable. Chad Boat is a wizard on the wrenches and understands how these cars react. Ryan Timms, Brent Crews, and Jade Avedisian are in great hands and will be fun to watch this year. The POWRi National Midgets kick off their season at Monarch Motor Speedway in Texas, where all three drivers will be in attendance.
